Where does the time go?

I started this blog to have me time.
I found it very therapeutic to express my thoughts, and share my geekiness. I recently have had a problem finding the time to do this.

Irony seems to be biting me in the bum today.
I knew what I wanted to write about this month, and both my kids and my wife came down with Strep. Last month I got so busy at work that IWSG just snuck up on me. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO!!

Life happens and time flies. Speaking of I need to Jet!

  1. Not by chili dogs - think of the smell!
    Glad you remembered this month.
As for where does the time go? It definitely speeds up the older you get.

  3. I can only imagine how fast those Cowboys in "Blazing Saddles" can fly. Strep is serious business David, so I'm glad you dodged it. I hope they're feeling better.

  4. So far, so good for me. My wife has a low immune system so she can get sick quick from the kids.

  5. Time really has no understanding for us poor humans!

  6. That last bit would be funnier if it said "Jeet." Because the name of the dog would be Jeet. But people would still read it as "Jet." And thus the funny.

  7. Nice!
What is funny is I'm back at work today, and actually have more time even though I've been out for a while with my sick family.

  9. Today they have there NeNe looking after them. As long as she puts the cartoons on she should do ok. Time has a way of taking time....

  10. Time is a bitch worse than karma. Darn GFC is too. I still can't join your blog. I shall keep trying, though.

    Healing thoughts to your family.

  12. Time is not a friend of mine. I'm still figuring out where it is that I'm going to go on the vacation I had last summer. Always behind.

  15. I know the feeling of not having enough time to blog. It's been quite a challenge for me lately! I hope your family recovers from strep and that you don't get it!

  16. Bummmmer... your poor wifey and kiddos... I hope you've made them soup and whatever else helps strep... real life is hard enough without adding sickness!!!
Time does freak me out. I swear 2 days ago I was in high school and everything was carefree. Now I'm 32 with four kids and I have moments ALL THE TIME where I stop and think this all can't be REAL. And yet time keeps happening. By the time I process where I am now, I'll be a grandmother... Okay... gah. Let's forget that last thought!!!!
As far as blogging, I'm in the mentality to do it when I can. Enough to keep touch, but not too much where it stresses me out. :)
