Out of service....

Sorry I haven't been around in a while.
A grateful thank you to those that have emailed me.
Here is my standard response for now.

"The long and the short of it is I have been extremely busy with work, and home lately. On top of this my house was struck by lightning, and I have lost my Laptop, internet, refrigerator and dishwasher. Along with all my GFCI receptacles in the kitchen and bathrooms. I can only get on from work so I am limited in what I can do."

I hope to be up in running after the insurance takes care of what is needed. Thanks again to all my friends I will try to stay in touch.

  3. OMG, that happened to us as well ten years ago, when all our appliances died after a sudden powershortage and we didn't even have any insurance and it happened on a New Year's Eve. Hope you will be back on track, soon, Dave, we miis you!

  5. Oh, wow. I hope the insurance comes through for you quickly!!! Those are all expensive things you lost, plus whatever damage might have been done to the internal wiring of your house!

  6. Great to hear from you David and I know it's hard to blog from work since I've done that on occassion and it is REALLY hard. I can't wait for that big fat insurance check for you!

  17. All things considered, I feel bad for not dropping by sooner and very much appreciate your visit. Sorry about the damn lightening, but I'm glad insurance is taking care of things.
