NEW Captain America Trailer

New Trailer for Captain America
The Winter Soldier

This came out before the SuperBowl...
and I don't know if I am more excited for the game or the commercials.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk.
Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

What did you think?
Will you go see the new movie?

  1. I still haven't made it through the first one. Mock lent me his DVD copy ages ago and I only got part way through. I should probably get on that.

  2. It seems to tie the First Avenger, and The Avengers together for Rogers.

  3. I have a lot of catching up to do with the Marvel movies, though I have to say few of them have grabbed me. The latest Thor movie, somewhat surprisingly, drew me back in.

  4. I've said all along that I am a DC man, but I like the Marvel movies for the most point. Captain America is my favourite Avenger.

  5. Favorite Avenger... it's a cast of thousands in the comics, of course... I really like Namor, the Sub-Mariner. Of course, he's been the bad guy in some of the stories, too. I'd love to see him in a movie!

  6. Awesome!
So far, the commercials are lame. The best one is the Muppets. Sad..

  7. It has been pretty slow. I just saw the Jaguar commercial with Ben Kingsley, Mark Strong and Tom Hiddleston on being British bad guys driving Jaguars. I did enjoy it but the funnest one has to be the Muppets. The Transformers one is ok.

  8. I missed it on TV but watched it on the internet. I'm sure the movie will differ a bit from the comics as the Cosmic Cube used in the Avengers was a big part of that story. The commercials were all pretty meh. But then I've thought that for many years now.

  9. The commercials matched the game this year.
Peyton Manning did his best 80's John Elway impersonation.

  10. The big question now seems to be, who dies???

  11. You didn't miss much, It wasn't much of a game.
Scarlet is easy on the eyes.

  13. yes, can't quite believe that the Chris from recent SNOWPIERCER or from PUNCTURE is the same Chris who back in his early days had his lovely pecs covered with whipped cream in one of the early teen comedies :) Not that I didn't appreciate that as well..... lol

  15. Looking forward to seeing this. I've enjoyed the cluster of Marvel movies much more than I thought I would.

  16. I will go see the new movie. I'm really excited about it. I hate to have my expectations be this high, because I'm almost always disappointed, but I'm pretty sure this is going to be one amazing movie.

  17. Very cool trailer! I definitely want to see the movie! (And yes, the commercials were way more interesting than the game! Half-time with Bruno Mars was pretty awesome, though!)

  22. Hi David,

I have been talking to my son about the movie. He reckons he'll wait until it's available on DVD or whatever they use these days. And we got the Super Bowl live in the UK. I'm hoping they might show the Grey Cup some year.

    Gary :)

  26. I didn't get to see the first one in the theater.
The NFL keeps saying they want a team in Europe.

  27. HA! I'm sure he will have that in the movie!

  28. With the price of tickets, it is difficult to see everything at the Theaters.

  29. we go to the early show... or the first one. it's like $6.00 a person... sad that it cost so much... sometimes we even wait for the dvd/blu-ray.

  30. I hate to say it is, but to many of the non-fans it is.
I wonder if he will be a russian assassin, or if they will retell it differently.

  31. As much as I love Redford, I love Falcon more.

  32. I think this movie will rock. Is the identity of the Winter Soldier a spoiler anymore? I've seen a lot of chatter about it, but I'm not sure.

  33. He has matured quite a bit from the days when he was the Human Torch Johnny Storm.
But I guess he is still Hot. :)

  34. I've always been a fan of Captain America. I really enjoyed the movie. I think Robert Redford would not have agreed to play in it if the script was not top-notch. I, of course, will see the movie. I am a sucker for a man out of time stories. Then there is Scarlet. I will cross my fingers. I was on the roads all day as a rare blood courier, so I did not see any of the ads on TV - plus I am not a football fan. Ouch, right?
