I had planned on doing a review of the Doctor Who Christmas episode, but I decided to go on Holiday. I love blogging and all my blogger friends, but I had time off work and needed to spend it with family.
So for now I will just leave you with some of my favorite Doctor Who Holiday pics. I will return soon with a review of Roland Yeomans New Book
They make good reindeer, don't they?
ReplyDeleteHey, time with family is more important. I didn't even turn on my computer Christmas Day.
My son got a new game for his 3DS.
ReplyDeleteHe went to bed that night squinting and complaining of a headache!
I hope you've had a wonderful time with your family, David! And I'm excited to hear updates from you this New Year. I always love the New Year energy... seems like anything is possible. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I did enjoy my time off.
ReplyDeleteHave a Great New Year!
In the imortal words of Buzz Lightyear "To infinity and beyond!"
if only Santa traveled in a T.A.R.I.S., happy everything... may it be a great year of things.
ReplyDeleteSanta is a Time Lord!
ReplyDeleteI saw a comic strip once where elves beat up the Doctor, and Santa stole it.
I'm good at Things...things are my specialty. It is right up there with stuff.
Glad to hear you enjoyed some time off work! Never asked you what do you do?
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to see your review. I think I liked the Day of the Doctor a bit better, but I'll watch this one again in the next week or so before I solidify my opinion. I did watch Day of the Doctor about 4 times, so it's only fair I give this one a better chance.
ReplyDeleteAnd having a holiday is a pretty good thing. You made the right choice.
I work at The University of Texas at San Antonio, or UTSA for short.
ReplyDeleteWe have a long winter break, but I usually work what we call a skeleton crew.
This year I got to stay away from work and let someone else do it.
I've only seen the Time of the Doctor 2 times. Once live and later that night. So to be fair I did see The Day of the Doctor like 5 times, so I would have to be "Fair and Balanced" with a review.
ReplyDeleteTime with family is essential. You chose wisely -- as the old knight Templar told Indiana Jones. Thanks for reading DEATH IN THE HOUSE OF LIFE and planning a post on it. The ghost of Mark Twain sends his best -- the evil Maija sends her worst. Sigh. Can't have everything (where would you put it?) :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Dalek Exterminate knitting cartoon David. Looking forward to your review Man.
ReplyDeleteIf you could have everything I guess you would have nothing left. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I plan on doing more reviews of books movies and stuff...
ReplyDeleteHave a good vacation David. Enjoy your family :)
ReplyDelete.......dhole
Daleks and Christmas...who knew? Who???
ReplyDeletei think your "things" and "stuff" is great... i will let "them" know... all the best!
ReplyDeleteI did and I shall.
ReplyDeleteWho knew indeed!
ReplyDeleteHi David,
ReplyDeleteThe Dr. Who Christmas episode got very mixed reviews in Britain. I found it a bit bewildering and only thirty seconds of the new Dr. Who was shown. I'm glad you spent quality time with your family, good sir.
Here's to 2014.
Gary :)
The ending left me wanting more of Peter Capaldi. I've read that they will allow him to keep his Scottish accent, and that some don't care for it.
ReplyDeleteC'est la vie
Que Sera, Sera
Those are cute! Happy New Year! I'm going to miss Matt Smith. He was a very cool Dr. Who!
ReplyDeleteHe make being geeky/awkward cool!
