NEW Trailer
“The LEGO® Movie,” the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, opens in theaters February 7, 2014. Directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (“21 Jump Street,” “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”), it stars Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Charlie Day, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.
The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

What did you think?
Would you go see a LEGO Movie?
Would you go see a LEGO Movie?
Everything but the kitchen sink! Someone might want to teach Batman how to throw though. Lego shapes probably made it easier to animate. And yes, sucks when you step on one.
ReplyDeleteMy nieces might like that. At least they talk in this instead of just pantomiming.
ReplyDeleteCommon Alex...HE'S BATMAN!
ReplyDeleteThe newer games started having them talk, it does add a lot more to it!
ReplyDeleteGreetings human, DAVID,
ReplyDeleteAh yes and that game the kids and adults play, "LEGO of my LEGO!" I hope the pieces fit together in the movie.
HAPPY HOWLOWEEN,
Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar, looking very much like his dopey human in the photo.
I saw this in the theater and I laughed my head off. I'm glad they're not taking it too seriously.
ReplyDeletePenny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar, I once had a friend who on a dare swallowed a LEGO!
ReplyDeleteI love the way it makes fun of all of us while having fun at the same time!
ReplyDeletePlus it has LEGO Batman!
OMG with our love for Legos around here, we WILL be there. I showed the preview to The Engineer and he wondered if it was a parody or a real movie...I think it's going to ROCK.

@ Life
is Good
I can't stop laughing at it!
ReplyDeleteIt is a real movie based on a parody of a parody!
I saw this trailer the other day at the theatre and it looks cute. I know what you mean with the legos everywhere. Plus my dog likes to eat them and deposit them in the yard. lol
ReplyDeleteHappy November!! :D
HA! I hope they stay in the yard after that!
ReplyDeleteI had seen the original trailer. This was the first time I've seen the new one. Not sure which I like better. The new one seems longer - maybe shorter is better. Two years ago, my son was exactly like yours - Legos everywhere! He seems to have toned it down a bit - probably because I don't build his sets anymore. ;0)
ReplyDeleteI would help him build the sets till he got aggravated that I didn't do it his way. Now he just dumps them out and does what he wants.
ReplyDeleteLEGO, LEGO, LEGO...This movie will either solidify this new era of ubiquity, or end it.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love LEGO I can understand the Flooding of the market as late. Everything is being turned Into LEGO.
ReplyDeleteOh, I will definitely go see the Lego movie. It looks so darn cute. Plus, Legos are supercool.
ReplyDeleteNothing is cooler than LEGOS in the freezer!
